Biography

Cody Feechan is a singer-songwriter from Scotland who has been noticed for her unique, husky vocals and subtle Scottish lilt that shines through in her songs. Taking influences from all sorts of genres, her music is best described as Alternative Rock-Pop.

Most recently, Cody has made some exceptional achievements whilst gaining a lot of recognition. In November 2021, Cody performed to a sold out Kings Theatre in Kirkcaldy for her headline show. Following this, she ended 2021 in style by touring all round England with Peat & Diesel to finish off the last leg of their tour with them.

Her single 'Breathe' quickly climbed to number 2 in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart in March 2021 before breaking into the Official iTunes Chart at Number 75. 'Breathe' reached number 1 in the Amazon Music Best Sellers and Hot New Releases for Folk whilst also reaching 39 in the All Genres Best Sellers. ‘Breathe’ also got recognition from Scottish Actor Robert Carlyle. Her latest single 'State of Confusion' also had great success in the iTunes Charts when released in August 2021. The song secured a position on the 'Very Nearly Nashville' Spotify Editorial Playlist whilst also being noted as one of the Best New Bands by This Feeling. A remix was done for 'Free Falling' in September 2020 which broke into the Official UK Charts for Scottish Singles. For this Cody worked with producer Clear Six who has worked with the likes of Rita Ora, Nelly, Nelly Furtado and Wretch 32.

Cody has secured radio airplay on Absolute Radio, Kingdom FM, BBC Radio Scotland, Sirius XM as well as Ireland’s biggest weekend radio show on RTE Radio 1. Taking to the stage to perform at the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards Cermony 2019, Cody also won the award for the 'Home Grown Talent' category. She has played at top venues including King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, The Barrowlands Ballroom as well as performing on The Riverside Show on STV Glasgow.

Despite a recent halt to live music due to this current pandemic, Cody has continued to rise since her return to live shows. In August 2021, Cody performed on the main stage at Gateways Festival in Skipton opening up for the likes of Razorlight, Scouting for Girls and Toploader. She supported Bang Bang Romeo at The Mash House in Edinburgh whilst also taking to the stage at The Voodoo Rooms (Edinburgh), Brudenell (Leeds), The Bullingdon (Oxford), Esquires (Bedford), The Cluny (Newcastle), Victoria Hall (Settle), Broadcast (Glasgow) plus many more.

This year is well and truly shaping up to be the same . Upcoming shows, festivals and new music releases to be announced in due course.
