Biography
Cody Feechan is a singer-songwriter from Scotland who has been noticed for her unique, husky vocals and subtle Scottish lilt that shines through in her songs. Taking influences from all sorts of genres, her music is best described as Alternative Rock-Pop.
Most recently, Cody has made some exceptional achievements whilst gaining a lot of recognition. Cody has secured radio airplay on Absolute Radio, Kingdom FM, BBC Radio Scotland, Sirius XM, Apple Music Radio as well as Ireland’s biggest weekend radio show on RTE Radio 1. Taking to the stage to perform at the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards Cermony 2019, Cody also won the award for the 'Home Grown Talent' category. She has played at top venues including King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, The Barrowlands Ballroom as well as performing on The Riverside Show on STV Glasgow.
Cody has performed at Gateways Festival (main stage), Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Party at the Palace, Butefest, Killin Music Festival, Gig in the Goil, to name a few. She toured all around England with Peat & Diesel to finish off the last leg of their 2021 winter tour with them. She has also been the main support for The Amazons, Skerryvore, Stevie McCrorie (Winner of The Voice 2015), Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Bang Bang Romeo, Dan Owen etc.
She has made several appearances in the iTunes Chart. Her singles 'Breathe'' and "Free Falling" both quickly climbed to number 2 in the Singer-Songwriter iTunes Chart. Cody has also charted on the Official UK Chart for Scottish Singles.
Cody describes her songs as having a whole new dynamic to them since starting to play with her full band back in 2018. James McMurray (Keyboard), James Martin (Drums), Steven Smith (Bass) and Roy Jarvis (Lead Guitar).
This year is well and truly shaping up to be a good one. Upcoming shows, festivals and new music releases for 2023 to be announced in due course.
